UNCLE!!!!

Do you remember the “game” when you were a kids?!? I say game because I can’t imagine why anyone would willingly play unless they were about 10 or so. It goes something like this…

“I am going to pinch you really hard” Tommy said

“Okay” said Jimmy, though he looked a little confused “I don’t really understand what to do Tommy”

“I am going to pinch you really really hard, then when you can’t take it any more you scream UNCLE!” Tommy said with a smile “when you say Uncle I know you gave up”

We are screaming UNCLE!

No we are not giving up on life, or our pursuit of happiness and understanding. We are giving up on our blog.

Sometimes we need to make a change. We know there are people following the blog, but boy it is a pain in the tush to respond. We as people are relatively new to the blogging world. I just learned 3 weeks ago how to put a counter on the site, the difference between a “hit” and a “unique hit”. In 3 weeks we had over 1,600 unique hits.

Now we are going to learn even more… like what the heck a widget is. Joe laughed at me when I said that! He was not being nasty, just informative… Here is what he told me… That is a fictitious item used in math problems when your in school. Seriously, I KNOW! But blogs have widgets. What is it?

We will start developing our new blog and somehow develop a widget (or in my terms a link to the new one).

I think I have found the service to use too! People can post anonymous and leave comments or they can join and be a “follower”. Yup, I know my parents always told me not to be a follower. You remember the famous question “If April jumped off a bridge would you follow her?” Being the smart a** that I am and have always been, just to get under their skin I most likely said “Yes!”

Now we are off to a new journey, learning to live and share our life experiences with others. Through people that read our posts we are blessed in more ways then just one. You help us walk a path we so wish we knew nothing about. But we are bound by love, faith and loss… we will continue to share.
